Letter from D!$n&yF@n@t!c

Dear Editor,

Sorry I've been so out of touch lately. Ever since I got back from vacation, I've been so busy with stuff. So I'll try to put my vacation in one blog.

Okay, so let's go back to my birthday first. That was so much fun! My sister and her friends took me out. We met up with my friends at McGuire's. Sat and had a few drinks for about 30 minutes. Then we headed over to Republic. My sister was able to get us in VIP, sweeeeet. Though you aren't supposed to drink there unless you're 21, I had way too many. Then I started taking shots... I DON'T EVEN LIKE SHOTS!! Well, needless to say, I don't remember getting home last night. My sister's friend Clint apparently brought us home. Crazy night, man. But it was a total success!

So we left for Mobile the next day. We left in the evening, so we got there around 10. It was just a stop so we wouldn't have such a long ride to Orlando. Once we got to Orlando, we were in paradise. We ended up staying at the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa for a whole week! We lounged around the hotel a lot and did some Disney stuff that we hadn't done. For instance, we played some putt putt courses in Disney World. They were so cool! I ended up getting the day's high score on one of the courses. I was on fire!

I'm not really going to go into a day-to-day detail about everything. Let's just say it was a fantastic vacation filled with fun birthday surprises including a white chocolate Mickey with a name tag made of chocolate! It was pretty cool. There was only one down side to the whole vacation. After one late night hanging out at other hotels with my brother and my friend Gabby whom we hung out with, we got back to the hotel room and went to sleep. At around 4 in the morning, we wake up hearing spastic movement and groans from Stephen's bed. He was having a seizure. Everyone jumped out of bed rushing to his aid. Mom scrambled around the room searching for the icing while Dad stayed with Stephen supporting his head. Once Mom found the icing, she placed it on his gums, and he began to come out of it. This was the first time I had ever seen him have a seizure (he has had two prior). I can honestly say that it was one of the scariest things I have seen in my life. That obviously excludes horror films, since this was real life. He's on medication now. I honestly worry about that kid..

Anyway, let's talk about something more cheerful, eh? I finally got a job. I began work at Romaguera Photography last Monday. I can honestly say that I love my job. The energy is great and the people are so much fun. I work full time, 9 to 5, which is really tiring. But it's worth it. I'm getting paid a good bit, and I love it.

So, Editor, I'm sorry about this lull. It won't happen again. I'll start writing to you more frequently again. Thanks for everything

Sincerely,

D!$n&yF@n@t!c

Letter from fckthwrld

Editor, I wish I could just tell you everything that was on my mind right now, but I can't for obvious reasons. I want to just curl up in a ball and cry. I don't understand people. Things could be going on in a person's life that could be so life changing and important to one's future. But no one seems to realize that the slightest push could send somebody off a cliff. (Metaphorically speaking, of course). You post one option on a website that says "Answer Anonymously" and suddenly a normal, kind person turns into this little red bastard with horns. They say they want to help you, but in the end, they know that it only hurts.

I don't know what to do. I'm drowning in my own emotions. I was so headstrong and dedicated to my purpose only two days ago. Suddenly these people think they know everything and can tell me what I'm doing wrong. What they don't know is that I'm handling everything the way I should be. I try to do the right thing. I could be like all the others, running. But I'm not. I'm not afraid of this. I want to be the one person who can be counted on. No one seems to believe that I can do that. Well, just wait.

Oh, Did you know? We still talk. EVERY DAY. We talk about everything. We're so close, but hey, no one cares. If we're not "together", then something must be wrong. So what? The one thing that matters is that we aren't fighting, we are on extremely good terms, and we're going to stick everything out. Fuck everyone else. I'm so sick of you people not believing in me, my friends, or anyone. I'm sick of being taken for a cheap bastard. I know what I need to do. Everyone who thinks I'm doing something wrong, go fuck yourselves. I'm done with you. You don't think I have it hard enough? You think this is easy? God damnit, I'm going through hell. I'm with her every step of the way. I'm not an ass. I have my balls in tact. Don't forget about her though, she's going through hell, too. We look out for each other. It's what FRIENDS and COMPANIONS do. We want the best for each other. So much even, that the other night we were disputing about how to handle it.

Looking out for each other. That's what we're doing. That's how we're going to get through this. And that's how we can ignore all of you ignorant fucks. Goodnight.

Sincerely,

fckthwrld

Letter from FckHm

Good evening, Editor. I'm sorry to disturb you at such a late hour, but I'm a little frazzled. It may be due to the fact that I forgot to take my medicine last night, but regardless, I'm frazzled. Why? Well, simply because somebody known to me as "Dad" is aggravating the hell out of me. This is going to be a ranty letter, so be ready.

Okay, so tonight was the softball scrimmage with the Old Lady Diamonds versus the New Lady Diamonds. It was fun, really. That's not the point, though. Afterward, we went to Applebee's. (It's kind of a tradition.) During that time, Dad decides to randomly pop out and say "Chase, you need to shave." I really don't know why this put me off the edge, but it did. I didn't say anything to him; I simply ignored the comment and went on with my conversation with my mother.

See, it's just this thing with him. He has to point out anything and everything I do wrong. He criticizes my every move. Half of it is being a father and looking out for me, I know that. I really do. But he's an ass about it. for instance, I want to be a teacher. However, my dad doesn't like that idea because he doesn't want me to zero in on one career. He wants me to have options. But really, what the hell is wrong with knowing exactly what you want to do? I don't care that you want me to be a engineer. I don't care about the "potential" I have. I want to be a teacher, so I would appreciate it if you would shut the fuck up and let me live my goddamn life!

It's not only that. If you remember from my last letter, I told you how he "punished" me. I have to be home before dark. SERIOUSLY!? How old am I? Twelve? I'm seventeen years old. Might I add, I will be eighteen in about a week. There's no reason for me to be punished. Sorry, father, but I'm a big boy now. I'm sick of you telling me what to do.

On the way home from Applebee's, I thought out what I would say if I were ever to go off on my dad. It was pretty harsh, what was happening in my head. I'm just honestly sick of him. He's always tried to push me to be who he wants me to be. I don't care what he wants. My life is not about pleasing his sorry ass anymore. I'm done with that. I know what I want to do. He may think I'm like him, but I'm not. I'm an adult now and I am going to do what I want. I'm not him, I'm me. My own person, my own personality. And I have different tastes than he does. What's next? If I buy a shirt he doesn't like, will he tell me not to wear it? Fuck that. I need to stand up for myself and tell him that I'm not taking his shit anymore. I'm sick of bowing down to his needs.

Anyway, sorry about that. I just really needed to rant about that. I'm just so tense right now. Maybe a hot bath? Eh, we'll see. Thank you for just listening Editor. Even though you don't say much, just the fact that you listen makes me feel a whole lot better.

Sincerely,

FckHm

Letter from rdy2mngl

Hey there, Editor. So this letter isn't going to cover as much ground as usual letters, but it will go into greater detail and ranting. So yesterday was quite an eventful day. First off, I went to Jessica's graduation party. I was like one of the few white people there. But hey, that's New Orleans. The food was fantastic, too! Well the time came during the night for friends and family to say a few words. Well, one of Jessica's little cousins (I think) sang a song for her. She's ten years old. I have never seen so much talent in someone so young. I almost cried. It makes me really happy too see the youth taking advantage of the time they have and investing it in discovering their God given talents.

Anyway, after I left the party, I went to meet up with people at Alexis' house. We all got in two cars and left for the Frat House. This was where the Dominican graduation party was being held. The people at the door were being serious assholes, though. Like, I borrowed Lance's ID to get in, but it had two holes in it. So the guy wasn't sure if he was going to accept it. He just asked me to stand on the side and wait, so I did. Eventually, another guy came over and looked at the ID and was like "This doesn't look like you." So I'm thinking, "Shit, I'm going to have to leave and figure out what the hell my friends are going to do for a ride home." Well, eventually they were just like "Fuck it" and let me in. Thank god!

Once I was in, I really wasn't enjoying myself. I mean, I went to another bar a few days earlier and I really enjoyed myself. But this place was different. It was more crowded and kind of like a dance club. To say the least, it was SO eastbank. For like two hours, I was just standing by my friends while they danced it up. I could literally feel the westbank side of me oozing out of my pores. I felt so out of place. Finally, after a few drinks, I began to loosen up and dance a little. After a few more drinks, I started seriously dancing. The weird part about being at this place, though, is that I saw people that I hadn't seen in years. And not just the fact that I hadn't seen them in a while, but I grew up with these people. It was quite interesting. So when they saw me, they were like "CHAASEE!!" It was pretty funny.

So we stayed at the Frat House for a good 5 hours. I drank probably way too much. OH! I forgot to tell you. My sister showed up there too. Talk about awkward. I feel like she was keeping an eye on me the whole night. But I mean, she was taking care of me in a way. I love her. So anyway, we got back to Alexis' house and kinda chilled there for like 5 minutes. I found out that her new boy, Jonathan, is a type 1 diabetic. I feel like I know the kid now since my brother is a type 1 diabetic. Of course, that's not a legit reason to know someone. Whatever. So I ended up driving home :\ . I got home fine though. Of course my parents were waiting up for me... I'll talk about that in the next paragraph.

Okay, so they were waiting up for me. They were pissed that I got home so late and that I was drinking. They could apparently tell. But really? I'm almost 18 and I'm about to go off to college. It's not like they will be able to control everything I do. They even took away my keys. Umm, I kind of need those. Especially since they want me to get a job and everything. Good luck with that guys. I mean, I know they're trying to look out for me and trying to teach me the dangers of drunk driving. And I really understand that. But the reason I do that is because they make it hard to tell them that I'm drinking in the first place. I don't want them to think poorly of me, but I'm a high school graduate, damnit. I will drink. It's that simple. My sister starting going out to clubs in her sophomore year. It's due time that I have some damn fun. I'm sick of them treating me like a baby. I know I have a lot to learn, but they need to get over that fact that I am a typical teenaged boy. I'm honestly just sick of them.

Oh, and did I mention? I'm single. This time I think it's final. I think the reason we got back together was because it was difficult seeing her everyday without being together. But now that it's summer, I realize that. And I'm ready to be single and try new things. I want to accept myself as being a bisexual male. And I'm done hiding that. I honestly don't care who knows because it's nothing to hide. It's who I am and I'm absolutely proud of it. I'm ready for whatever the world has for me and I will approach it in a positive way. I'm ready. Bring it on, world.

So, Editor. Those last few paragraphs were a bit ranty. But hey, that's kind of my thing. I hope you enjoyed this letter as much as I enjoyed last night. Write you again soon. Thanks for listening.

Sincerely,

rdy2mngl

Letter from thegraduate

Okay, so it is due time for me to write another letter. Let's update with what happened throughout the week, shall we?

Well, on Monday, I went to work on the yearbook at school, then went to have some coffee with friends. Marissa came in town for a few days and we got to spend a little time with her. It was really fun. I miss that group of friends a lot, actually. So, that night the same group (besides Marissa, who had to catch her flight back to LA) went over to Jesse's to play beer pong. Needless to say, we all got a little messed up. It was so much fun though. Everyone was pretty much being completely stupid. It's what we do.

So Tuesday was pretty uneventful, so I'll skip that. Wednesday, we had our final graduation practice. It took FOREVERRRR. The good part was, once it was over with, we all went over to my house for a swim party!! This was a lot of fun and was a huge success. Once people finished swimming, a few of the guys played a huge game of Brawl. Greatest thing ever. I'm not the only nerd! haha. So once the party was pretty much over, something absolutely amazing happened. MY NEW LAPTOP CAME IN! There was still like 3 people there to help me test it out. Mom and Dad decided to surprise me with the touchscreen feature. I feel like I have my own personal SmartBoard. So we left to go hang out in Timberlane, and the night just went on in a strange manner.

Thursday was the day. Graduation. Woke up at like 12. Left the house at 2. Well, needless to say it was a great ceremony. I ended up winning the "Sedes Sapientiae" Award. Which means "Seat of Wisdom." The greatest part about this award is the fact that it's not a plaque or anything. But it's a watch. Like a nice one, too. I'm excited because now I have something I can use, but it has a story behind it! Anyway, I'm glad to have finally graduated. Though I will miss De La Salle very much, it's time to move on for a while.

Well, that night was supposed to be the fun part of everything. Apparently, Tucks had organized to have a discount for all De La Salle graduates. And since it was Thirsty Thursday, that would have been like $.25 drinks. Well, once we got there, they started pulling out college back up on us. Even though they did it like every fifth person. They were simply being retarded. I give up on people. We tried to go to the Frat, but the line was ridiculous. Then back to Tucks to try again which didn't work. Eventually, we all ended up at McGuire's. I thoroughly enjoyed this, though some people were bitching about the kind of place it was. Which I didn't understand. I mean, we tried two other places and we couldn't get in, so just deal with what we can get. Make the best of what you have instead of lingering on the negative. I was perfectly content with sitting at a bar and having a few drinks. As far as I could see, there was nothing wrong with this place. Some people aggravate the hell out of me, but what can you do?

All in all, I thought the night went pretty well. Could have been better, since we ended up sleeping in my car. But I found it to be a good overall experience.

So, Editor, this concludes my letter. It's not my best work, I'll admit. I'm a little off my game today. But hey, some things just need to be done, eh?

Sincerely,

thegraduate

Letter from fnlydn

Okay, Editor, this was a busy week. So, this may be a lengthy letter. But here goes nothing.

Let's start off with Senior Exams. On Wednesday I had Civics and Religion, or as I like to call it: "Waste of time" and "Who cares?". It's really sad that I didn't study at all for these two exams. It's like, I wanted to care. I really did, but I just couldn't. This Senioritis thing became a huge obstacle in the end. The exams went generally well I think. After the exams, we had Graduation practice. It took the class like 40 minutes to line up and sit down in their seats. That's pathetic. I mean, I know we're not the most organized and functional class, but we should be able to handle something as simple as that. That people that made it difficult weren't the two girls in charge. It was the idiots that would try to take over and order everybody around in an unorganized fashion. These students being the apathetic jerks in and out of the classroom. So this was the most miserable hour and a half of my life. Plus our principal had to point it out when she made her way up there that we took longer than any other class. I was so relieved when we finally left.

Thursday I had my Theatre exam. This was a scene from The Tempest. Act II Scene ii. This was tough, considering it was my first time working with Shakespeare on stage. However, once we really dug into it and I understood the meaning of every line, I was able to truly enjoy myself. It's a funny scene, too. Anyway, the scene went moderately well considering a few dropped lines (not on my part, just saying). It was fun. We received a 96 for our performance. Not bad, I think. So after the exams we had a second Graduation practice. This time, everyone got to their seats and were quite before the tardy bell rang for the underclassmen's next period. Principal was impressed. This practice didn't take nearly as long, so I was quite happy about that.

Friday was Senior Day. We all met at the JCC pool for 10 AM. It was so pleasant. The weather was perfect. And, I got a ton of pictures. I didn't think I was going to swim, but I ended up getting in the pool. Everyone was getting along and being friendly. At around noon, we walked back over to the school yard to have some crawfish. They weren't fantastic, but they were still yummy. (Btw, the computer just said I spelled "crawfish" incorrectly. Apparently, Firefox was made in the north.) After that, we had some time to kill, so about ten of us went over to Johnny's house to chill. I LOVE his place. It's retro, but really nice and modern at the same time. I'm moving in with him. Period. End of story. :) So we got back to school around 2 for the Senior-Faculty basketball game. It was so much fun! Of course, we got beat by the faculty. That happens every year though. They cheat, but that's what makes it funny!

So today is Saturday. This morning we had the Senior Awards Breakfast. It was nice, at the Rose Garden. Nothing was really all that unexpected. I received the awards I assumed I would receive. There's nothing wrong with that, though. I am perfectly content with what was awarded and who it was awarded to. I didn't get as many pictures as I would have hoped, though :\. So tonight, I went on a long overdue date with my girlfriend, Tiffany. I picked her up, and we went to eat at Applebee's. We talked about our summer plans and how we would get a puppy. Even though we know that wont happen. After we finished eating, we went over to the theater to see Iron Man 2, which was pretty good. Even though this doesn't sound like a truly romantic evening, it was. I don't know why, but it was perfect. She's amazing. I love her so much and just being around her is enough for me. I don't ever want to let that go.

So, editor, I'm almost out of high school. No more class for me, but I have yet to graduate. By the way, graduation is next Thursday. I'm super excited. Thanks for listening to my play-by-play events of these past few days. Write to you later!

Sincerely,

fnlydn

Letter from chrctrbld

Okay, Editor, do you mind if I reference my last letter for a quick second? Thanks. Well, remember that paper that I was dreading? I finished! Yesterday, I spend an honest seven or eight hours working on it, but I finally finished it. Okay, so maybe it wasn't an "honest" seven or eight hours, since in that time I was watching Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest, facebooking, twittering, formspringing, etc. So I may have been a little distracted. But the funny part is, it was generally easy to write. And the guy isn't even grading on content. He just checks that you covered three political parties, four issues for each party, and that it is in MLA format. Really? My dog could write that paper and get an A. If you're going to assign a term paper, at least grade it properly. Granted, my paper wasn't exactly a work of art. But that's because I know this guy doesn't give a shit. So there, that's my excuse. What's his?

Anyway, during my epic journey to a completed term paper, I came across lovely obstacles in my life brought to you by the wonderful world of Formspring. Cue dramatic music.. People these days seem to think it is perfectly fine to ask ridiculously inappropriate and overly personal questions just because it can be asked anonymously. It's like there's a voice in their heads saying "Haha, they won't know that it's me saying these things." Okay, there is truth to that statement. But does that justify your lack of character? I mean, websites such as formspring are meant to be peaceful and fun. I see many profiles that are fun to read and people ask great questions. But then there are some, such as my own, that are filled with questions and comments meant to upset the person.

Now, my usual reaction to such questions are simply to ignore them and not waste my time with such foolishness. However, I was bored and quite honestly, looking for something to distract me. So, I answered the questions in the way I thought would be best. For instance, someone asked why I didn't have any self respect. So, I told him/her that I actually did. My achievements have shown me what I am capable of and that, when I strive to be, I can really accomplish some things. Well, that turned into a bit of a fiasco. But I held my head high, and I tried to keep showing character.

Later in the night, another person wrote on the site and asked why I continued to answer those questions when I pride myself on being mature for my age. They said I shouldn't stoop to they're level. And then I realized how right that person is. If I pride myself on my character and how much I can overcome things, I shouldn't feed the fire. For a few hours, I feel like I was just looking for a chance to be bold and to hold strong. I gave that person their credit and thanked them for their input. That is the kind of thing I'm looking for on formpsring. People who either ask harmless questions, or people who are looking to better another person with their thoughts. That's a great person right there. Instead of lingering on the bad of another, try to better yourself and the people around you. That's how people can make a difference in the world. So, I tip my hat to you, formspringer. Thank you for your fantastic insight.

And so, Editor, I conclude today's letter saying only this: I am so thankful for those who test my character, and those looking to help better themselves and others. I think that's a good little piece of advice, don't you? Maybe you can put that in your column. I mean, though I am an amateur, I've got a little potential, you think?

Sincerely,

chrctrbld

Letter from almsthr

Okay, so in these last week of school I have to accomplish two major things. One: Write my 10-page Civics paper. Two: Perform a scene from The Tempest.

Let's start with the paper, shall we? Well, it's supposed to be on political parties. I honestly couldn't care less about politics. It's boring, it's stupid. Screw it. P.S. have I mentioned that I have to turn this paper in on Monday? Oh, and did I also mention that I haven't even started on it yet? Screwwww itttt. I'm probably going to bullshit the entire paper. Our instructor doesn't read it anyway. Ugh, I hate Civics! It's a class full of idiots anyway. They try so hard not to do anything, and they succeed. I would much rather be in a productive class than be in a class where we do nothing and I get nothing out of it. ugh.

So the second thing is the Tempest scene. It's from Act II, Scene ii. It takes place in a deserted place with Caliban (the monster), Trinculo, and Stefano (two drunks). They shipwrecked and meet the monster and it turns into a whole ordeal. The thing is though, this scene is our exam. Everyone else has to learn a one page scene from Macbeth, which is like 10x easier. This scene is three times as long and much more difficult. However, I went over it today with Lance and Johnny (my scene partners), and I think we can pull it off. Of course, it won't be easy. It will be quite a challenge. But then again, I do like a challenge, Don't I?

So, Editor. Can you do me a favor? Can you rewrite this whole "Story of my Life" and fastforward to Thursday? Then I'll be done with high school. Ugh. 4 days left. I'm dying. Whatever.

Sincerely,

Almsthr

Letter from prmisovr

Hey there, Editor. Last night was my Senior Prom. So I thought it would be a good idea to write to you about how the night went. This shouldn't be a terribly long letter, but I figured I would write anyway.

Okay, so first off, Lance and I started the day by going to Spencer's to see if we wanted to buy anything to, you know, prep for the after party. Well I got a shot glass that said "If you're happy and you know it, DO A SHOT!" It made me happy. I also got some beer pong glasses. Which I can't find at the moment. Whatever. So after that I went home and I thought I would take a short nap before I took a shower and got ready and such. So I set an alarm on my phone for 3:30. (Everyone was to meet at Devyn's for 5) Well, I wake up from my nap and I realized that I never heard my alarm go off. Well, it's 4:20. My alarm just decided not to go off. Okay, well actually I accidentally set it for 3:30 AM. I'm such a goof. So I got ready in 20 minutes. Like shower, shave, packed, tux and everything. I think I set a record. So I got to Devyn's at about 5:10 (not bad) and finally calmed down. We took pictures and left for American Sector for dinner.

This wasn't a particularly fancy place, but it was neat. There isn't really all that much to say about dinner. So I'll just move on.

The limo picked us up after dinner. This thing was amazing! We had about an hour to just drive around and party in the limo. Everyone was dancing on each other, the music was blaring. It was so much fun. We got to prom, and just kinda.. chilled. No one likes the actual dance. Well anyway! It was time for the presentation of Senior Favorites. I got Most LaSallian (go figure). Along with that, Lance got most spirited and Devyn got best smile. I like that two of my best friends got something. I voted for them too :]

So finally we were able to leave prom. The ride home on the limo was sooo much better than the ride there. The boys all took their tuxedos off besides the pants, so it was pretty much like a Chip'n'Dale night. It was just fun. Like really fun. anyway, we got back to Devyn's. and the games began! All the couples chose a color prior to the night and we had teams for a beer pong tournament. I drew a bracket and got really way too organized with the whole thing. But it worked out well. Of course, Tiff and I lost both of our matches (it was double-elimination). But still, it was a lot of fun.

But of course, I ended up getting quite intoxicated. Which I really don't mind. But, like every drunken night, I woke up being.. confused. Not in a "where am I?" sort of way. More like a "what do I want?" sort of way. I don't know what I want anymore. I really don't. Especially relationship-wise. It's just all too much. Whatever, I'm graduating soon. BYAHH.

So I guess that whole "going to be a short letter" thing kind of backfired, eh?

P.S. I took plenty of pictures. You should check them out. Thanks, Editor.

Sincerely,

prmisovr

Letter from emtnlyfkd

Alright, Editor. This honestly may be the shortest gap between letters there's been in a really long time. But today just screamed to have a letter written about it. So, I don't know what it was about today, but I just wanted to die. Plus the fact that I forgot to take my medicine for a few days, but that's besides the point, right?

First off, Prom is coming up. Like as in this weekend. I'm super stressed about it because plans are still shakey and no one seems to know what's going on afterwards. To make this even better, the group I'm going with consists of my girlfriend, one of my good friends, her boy, and two other couples. Sounds fun, right? Wrong. The boys in the two other couples aggravate the living hell out of me. I just can't stand them They're obnoxious! But if I want to go with a group and all, I have to deal. It's just that, this is my Senior Prom. And I always thought that this night would be great; Everything I ever dreamed of. I feel like it's just going to bite me in the ass because of my being so ahead of my time. I have the mindset of a 30 year old, not a 17 going on 18 one. I know that I'm going to hate Prom, and theirs nothing I can do about it.

Then I got to thinking, why not just find some other friends? But wait.. who? I've seriously lost all connection with anyone I was ever close with, given the exception of one or two. Of course, those one or two don't even go to my school. I mean, sure, I have friends at school who I hang out with there. But I don't have any really GOOD friends. I don't know why. Is it me? Have I driven them away? Am I too picky? What is wrong with this picture! I'm going to graduate high school with no best friends. NONE. All I have is my girlfriend. That's it. And she's not even a Senior. I'll be leaving her in August. What the hell am I going to do then? I'm just so sick of having to worry about who I'll be with and where I'll be.

I was thinking on the way home from Florida about where I want to be in 10 years. And I have it practically planned. I'm ready to be in the working world. Teaching, directing. Still being involved with the things I love. But I don't need any friends, right? I mean, Occasionally I'll go to dinner with a few or something. But no one as a "best friend." What the hell does that mean anyway? I honestly feel like I'm way to messed up for my own good. It's true. I know it.

So to sum up the day, I hate my life. Period. I hate who I am, I hate who I've been, and I have no idea what I will think about who I will be. Fuck it.

Sorry about that, Editor. Every now and then I get a little anxious. Thanks for taking this letter, though. Just discard it after you read it. I don't want to start any shit with my "friends."

Sincerely,

Letter from dstrssd

Oh, Editor. I've been told that my blog was missed, so I decided to write to you once again. Maybe this time I can keep it up? Who knows.

At any rate, now I am a second semester Senior, with like three weeks left. I love it. But, I'm getting a little lazy. Whatever. I finally decided on Spring Hill as my college of choice. It's in Mobile, Alabama. Can't wait for that!

Besides school, I just finished a production of Music For Spring at De La Salle. First Act was The Diary of Adam and Eve, in which I played Adam. I love that show, it's touching. Second Act was a musical review. I sang A LOT of songs. Which gave the De La Salle folks a chance to see exactly what I'm made of. Plus, it gave me some great experience. It was my last high school show, too! It's very sad. But sort of relieving. Whatever.

Of course, one thing I'm a little upset about is the lack of support from people. Both De La Salle students, and simply friends of mine who enjoy theatre. You would thing some people would be all for supporting local high school theatre. Well, apparently not. It's a little saddening to realize how some people's egos seem to get in the way of being kind and supportive. I mean, performers feel awesome when their friends come to see them. I had one or two very close friends come and see me. I have more friends than that, Editor.

I just don't know what I'm doing anymore regarding social life. I just don't care about searching for things to do, or people to see. Granted, if someone invites me to go somewhere, chances are I will oblige. But, I don't search for things to do as much anymore. Plus my romantic life is killing me. It's a long story, Editor, but I'm afraid things are going downhill. I love her though... It's difficult to explain.

Anyway, thanks for taking my letter. I appreciate your listening to my venting and whatnot.

Sincerely,

dstrssd
